What to Expect – CrisisCamp Day

CrisisCamp Day of Learning-Saturday, September 25, 2010
Preparedness matters! Individuals, associations, organizations, NGOs, and companies all plan for emergencies. We set a goal at the CrisisCommons Congress in July 2010 to build more preparedness for CrisisCamp. Won’t you join us to learn, share and collaborate?
We plan three main streams of activity:

  • CrisisCamp in a Box: create content and participate in activities and tasks to help groups and individuals contribute (e.g. volunteer starter kit
  • Open Dialogue about Emergency Preparedness and brain on the World Bank Problem Definitions
  • Learn about other Volunteer Technical Communities and their tools

How to Register:
London (UK), Bogota, Columbia, Washington, DC, Toronto (CA) , Calgary (CA), Silicon Valley, CA, and Virtual

Times:
CrisisCamp Day starts in London UK (09:00 UTC/05:00 ET) and ends in Calgary AB (~17:00 MT/23:00 UTC). You can join virtually anytime via our IRC channel.
